SIMCom Wireless Solutions Ltd (SIMCom), a leading global supplier of wireless module, announces today that one of its 3G solutions named SIM5215 has been awarded as 'The Best low-bandwidth 3G module' in 2009 Embedded Mobile Module Competition organized by GSMA. The panel of judges is composed of many global mobile network operators, including AT&T, KT, O2, TIM, Vodafone, etc. This award further confirmed SIMCom's strong engineering innovation in the wireless module industry.

According to the GSMA research, the demand  of  embedded mobile devices will  be highly increased in the future , especially  of applications in telematics/automotive，health，smart metering (clean technology and utilities) and consumer devices.  By organizing the competition, GSMA hopes to bring together the leaders of this industry to accelerate the growth of M2M and lead the way to more competitive products and services.
